Aweform offers most of the features found in Typeform + a more modern and more customizable look and feel for significantly less money, there is also a free tier with most of the features Typeform charges extra for already included. The free tier is limited to 10 questions per form and you can only see the 100 latest answers per form but unlike others you can keep collecting answers and upgrade at any time to access them. Aweform also has some real cool visual flourishes like customizable animated transitions and even particle effects to make your surveys really stand out from the crowd.
Google Forms is not quite as robust or attractive as Typeform but it is attractively priced as it is entirely free and available for anyone with a Google account to use, without any limits to number of questions or responses.
SurveyMonkey is used by thousands of companies across the world and is packed with features. There is a free version available that lacks a few features, chiefly the ability to customize its appearance fully. Surveys are clean looking but may feel a little dated compared to Typeform and some other alternatives on this list. The free version is limited to 10 questions per Form, and you can see only 40 responses per Form. Its also not possible to open your free Forms on your page, you need to link to SurveyMonkey to view the form.
Zoho survey supports a large number of question types and allows you to create a relatively full featured survey even in their free tier which allows 10 questions and up to 100 responses per survey. Surveys are clean and nice looking but may feel a little old compared to what you get with Typeform and some other alternatives on this page. There are tons of templates available to start from though which is a plus.
SurveySparrow is a great tool with a very modern look and feel and as with all the alternatives on this page there is a free version available. The free version is limited to 100 responses per month, and 10 questions per survey. JotForm doesn't really rank up there with the most stylish results but the platform does offer a robust feature set and lets you get started for free. In something of a rarity amongst our contenders on this page JotForm has a 5 form limit in the free version, which may or may not be a factor for you. On the bright side, there is no limit on the number of questions you can have in your form. There is a 100/answers/month limit though, and a cap on total number of submissions for your account at 500.
While Mailchimp is no doubt best known for their email functionality, Mailchimp does also support creating surveys. The different question types in Mailchimp is relatively limited when compared to our other options but they cover the most basic types which is usually enough for most surveys. The big benefit obviously is that the surveys here integrate nicely with Mailchimps email based functionality which may be important to you.
Wufoo is actually owned by SurveyMonkey but exists as a seperate product. You can create more traditional looking forms here that generally lack the visual flair you'd find with Typeform and other more modern contenders on this page. Non the less they do offer a free version and the surveys you create are generally extremely fast due to their simplicity. The free plan allows for up to 5 forms, a maximum of 10 fields per form, and a total of 100 responses per month, shared across all forms.
SurveyLegend features a robust set of survey features and has a free version that supports a large number of different question types and field level customizations. One downside with the free version of SurveyLegend is that they not only have a water mark on your form, they may also serve ads. But if that doesn't bother you its still a solid choice. On the plus side there is NO response limit, and NO questions limit, probably related to the whole ads bit we'd imagine. You are however limited to creating a maximum of 3 surveys.
Survio offers a very nice package with a lot of features included even in the free tier. Unlike most other solutions you can have an unlimited number of questions even without paying, but you are limited to 100 responses/month across all your surveys. The free version does not support Jumps though, and branding options are limited.
